When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they hid from God. We all know that place of shame, hiding away trying to conceal our faults. It’s a lonely place. Eventually most of us want to come out of hiding into the presence of our life-giving creator. The problem is we’re so conditioned by our hiding that we don’t know when God is near. There is a way to know; it is a way that is available to every person. What follows when God is near scripture calls “prosperity.” The Bible also heaps curses on those who ignore that way. What is this way? Can it be mapped? What is its destination?
