Education is a central part of gospel mission. Jesus was a master teacher. Everywhere he went he taught. It was almost always the first thing he did; before he healed, before he cast out demons, before he proclaimed good news, he taught. From the earliest days of our denomination Adventists have perceived that the work of education is not a sideline but the frontline for the Gospel. This Sabbath we will have a special service that explores the ministry of education. We will recommit ourselves to its work. We will pray for and bless our Desert Adventist Academy community as we prepare for the coming school year.
